Finally read the latest Hamish MacBeth. Always good to get back to Lochdubh.
But in reading what would otherwise be a good old fashioned British murder mystery, elements of the times creep in. A few things that stood out:
* A town thats put its money in Icelandic Banks.
* A computer programmer who has to relocate from London to Australia because her job got outsourced.
* A half built building because credit dried up.
* An internet cafe filled with Polish expatriates.
Even in the cozyies, the world must move on.
