No punishment for Karzai’s threats

Pakistan’s failure to respond to Afghan toady Karzai’s blowhard threats with anything other than feckless protests is inexplicable at a time when his nation’s well-being, including access to fuel, food and port access, is dependent entirely on our apparently endless goodwill.

Our insistence on pampering this craven worm reminds one of Churchill’s observations on the eve of World War II: “Offered a choice between shame and war, we have chosen shame – and will get war.”
